Bernie Signs exists for one reason: political speech belongs to everyone. Yet most rallies, interviews, and major addresses still ship without American Sign Language interpretation, and captions — when they exist — are an afterthought.

For Deaf and Hard of Hearing viewers, that means being shut out of the conversation shaping their country. We pair every video with a synchronized transcript and a dedicated ASL interpreter window, side by side, so the speech and the signing move together in real time.

Healthcare is a human right

Bernie has said it for decades, and it's the thread that ties this project together. A society that believes every person deserves healthcare also believes every person deserves to be informed, to participate, and to be heard. Accessibility isn't a feature — it's the same principle, applied to information.

We're starting small: one interview, fully transcribed and ready for ASL interpretation. More speeches will be added as we grow.
